The buffered power supply unit SSE9024 is designed for the operation of medium-sized consumers where a continuous power supply must be guaranteed. During mains operation, the internal switching power supply provides the downstream equipment with an output voltage of 24V.  

DC UPS - buffering with supercapacitors

The integrated DC UPS (buffer module) bridges short-term mains interruptions. During buffer operation, the built-in supercapacitors (buffer capacitors) supply the downstream equipment with a buffer voltage of 22.5V, thus ensuring a steady power supply. Buffering load currents can also prevent interference from mains voltage faults, peak loads and switching operations.

DC UPS - maintenance-free

The DC UPS stores the required energy in internal super capacitors (supercaps). Thus, this uninterruptible power supply (UPS) is absolutely maintenance-free. A rechargeable battery is not installed. Fully encapsulated in an aluminum housing, the capacitor-buffered power supply is characterized by vibration resistance, industrial and tropical compatibility.
