ASi switched-mode power supplies with actuator-sensor-interface
The AS-Interface (ASi = Actuator-Sensor-Interface) is a standard for fieldbus communication that has been developed for connecting actuators and sensors. The aim is to replace the previous parallel cabling. The AS-Interface is mainly used on the sensor / actuator level. The AS-Interface has been an international standard according to EN 50295 and IEC 62026-2 since 1999. The AS-International Association is responsible for the certification of ASi products. ASi is an open technology supported by leading automation vendors. Today over 14 Million ASi field devices are installed globally. The ASi specification is managed by AS-International, a member funded organization located in Germany. Several international daughter organizations exist around the world.
