► 130-volt power supply units - unregulated (filtered / smoothed)
Here, the AC mains voltage is transformed by a transformer to the appropriate rectifier input voltage, which is then filtered and smoothed by means of an electrolytic capacitor. Depending on the AC input voltage and DC load, the output voltage may vary slightly. The design of these 130V power supplies is robust and limited to the essentials.
