Here, the AC mains voltage is transformed by a transformer to the appropriate rectifier input voltage, which is then filtered and smoothed by means of an electrolytic capacitor. Depending on the AC input voltage and DC load, the output voltage may vary slightly. The design of these 220V power supplies is robust and limited to the essentials. These 220V power supplies are sufficient for controlling valves, relays, contactors and Manget switches and for most PLC controls.

The unregulated PSU750220 power supply unit from FEAS can be operated with the input AC voltage of 115VAC or 230VAC.
