The housing of this powerful and robust switch mode power supply from FEAS is designed for installation in 19 inch racks. The functional and stable aluminum housings are made in the 3RU 8HP version.
Versions and installation variants of the power supply units for 19 inch slide-in units
These power supplies for 19 "slide-in frames are available as versions with or without a 3RU partial front panel with handle.
There are different connection variants on the back:
► via connector strip H15
► via cable
► Primary connection via terminals and secondary connection via cable
Wall mounting is also possible.

Switching power supplies (SMPS) in general
The switched-mode power supply converts the mains voltage into a regulated output voltage. After filtering and rectification, the AC input voltage is converted into a high-frequency, wave-shaped pulsating voltage using a pulse-width modulated semiconductor switch and transformed into the required voltage on the secondary side byusing a transformer. It is then rectified and filtered again. The higher-performance power supply units are all equipped with Power Factor Correction (PFC).
