The buffered power supply units from FEAS are uninterruptible power supplies (DC UPS) with batteries. They reliably supply your systems or installation with the energy they need. The built-in rechargeable batteries guarantee bridging to protect your consumers even in the event of a power failure - depending on the device in the range of seconds or up to 2 hours.
With the buffered power supply units, you can ensure a steady supply of energy - even in the event of faults due to mains voltage errors, peak loads and switching operations. The reliability of your overall system is increased considerably. Installed and completely encapsulated in an aluminum housing, the robust, buffered power supply units are characterized by their vibration resistance and suitability for industrial and tropical conditions.

Buffered power supply - how it works
The buffered power pack is switched between the mains voltage and the system in order to supply them with direct voltage. The device stores the energy in batteries as long as the power supply provides the voltage. In the event of a mains voltage failure, the buffered power supply unit takes over the load current for a certain period of time. As a result, e.g. processes are terminated in a defined manner or process data are saved to enable controlled restarts.
