FEAS buffer modules of the SSE series are suitable for bridging short-term power failures, peak loads or switching operations. For this purpose, the buffer module is either connected in parallel at any point directly into the regulated DC voltage circuit or used for the selective protection of critical consumers. The buffer module prevents malfunctions caused by short interruptions in the power supply. The reliability of the overall system will be significantly increased.
The buffer modules from FEAS are all maintenance-free because no battery is installed. Completely encapsulated in an aluminum housing, the robust buffer modules are characterized by their vibration resistance and suitability for industrial and tropical conditions.
Choose a buffer module that suits your application:
► Output voltage 12VDC 24VDC or 48VDC
► with AC or DC input / with or without integrated power supply unit
► adjustable buffer voltage
► Boost function up to 200%
► with typical buffer times between 30s and 110s
► Remote monitoring (power failure, state of charge, temperature, overload)
► Installation on DIN rail or wall mounting
The buffer module stores energy in buffer capacitors as long as the DC power supply provides the voltage. If the mains voltage fails, the buffer module takes over the load current for a certain period of time. As a result, e.g. processes are terminated in a defined manner or process data are saved to enable controlled restarts. Any number of buffer modules can be connected in parallel to extend the buffer time or to increase performance.
Note: UPS supply with rechargeable batteries can be found under the product category DC-UPS
First select the required output voltage of your buffer module (12VDC, 24VDC or 48VDC). You will get a list of all buffer modules from FEAS.
